Once you have created your perfect menu on Maimenu, you can use this plugin to insert it anywhere in your WordPress site using the simple short code [maimenu]. When you update your menu on Maimenu, your information will automatically be published on your WordPress site and on Maimenu’s site. **How does it work?** **Step 1: Create an account at Maimenu.it ** **Step 2: Retrieve your menu** If your menu is already online, chances are that it already exists in the Maimenu database. You’ll simply need to retrieve it and make edits (if required) before publishing it. If your menu is not already available on Maimenu, you can simply create it from Maimenu’s backend. **Step 3: Edit your menu** Once your menu or price list has been claimed or created in Maimenu, use our easy-to-use menu editor to make any required changes. When you’ve finalized everything, click on the “Save” button in the bottom of the page. **Step 4: Retrieve the HTML snippet on Maimenu to publish on your WordPress site** In the left-sidebar of your Maimenu dashboard, click on the “Publish and share” button. Upload the `Maimenu` folder and all its contents to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in Restaurant Menus 3. Paste your Menu code snippet from [www.maimenu.it](http://www.maimenu.it/) into the text area and click “Save” ## FAQ Have a specific question or having trouble? Drop us a line at http://web.maimenu.it/support.html My restaurant or other business has not yet opened, or I want to try out creating a Menu without having a business in mind. How do I sign up? Go to www.maimenu.it ([www.maimenu.it](http://www.maimenu.it/)) to create an account and use a name for a business to test out Maimenu. Where do I get the Maimenu HTML snippet for this plugin? Once you have created your Maimenu account, retrieved your menu for your business and edited as you see fit, click on the Publish tab on the left-hand side of your dashboard. Then, click the “Publish and share” button to get the HTML snippet. Simply paste that code snippet into the plugin’s text area. Does Maimenu already have a copy of my restaurant’s menu? If a restaurant already has its menu available online, chances are that it can be found on Maimenu. To retrieve the menu, simply create an account and enter in your venue’s name.
